ASTM test results.

We've received our certificate for passing the ASTM F 2413-05 Performance Requirements for Foot Protection in our class. This was a test we felt compelled to undertake since so many buyers in the USA are familiar with it. Naturally, US buyers are not familiar with our CE Approval rating. In any event we went to Artech Testing LLC in Virginia, who themselves were approved by SATRA, the testing body in Europe that approved us for CE.

This excellent result is of more interest to the industrial market but it is still noteworthy for the home and garden consumer to whom much of our blog has been directed of late.

At Safetytoes International Inc. of late we have been focused on the home and garden market and on European industrial distribution. We are pleased that so many of our articles have been picked up by magazines which is helping spread the word. We've had some compliments from readers and by far the greatest interest has been sparked by our article linking Slipp-Rs and Diabetes.

We made a quick trip to Europe recently and had the good fortune to meet with our latest UK distributor. Things are picking up speed over there and it's always a pleasure "crossing the pond" to help get the ball rolling.

Now, having passed the ASTM tests, we are ready to go deeper into US territory.
